Over 60% of the GDP of the world and 80% of the U.S. GDP is service, yet discussions of innovation still seem to focus on goods.
Service Innovation was published by Business Expert Press in May 2016 to address a need for business people, researchers and students of innovation to review current research and best practice in the innovation of service.
It covers the theory and best practices but is relatively short and full of examples.
We wrote the book to be useful for people:
- engaged in innovation in their organizations,
- doing research on innovation and
- students. (It was well received in my MBA course – without activating my sycophant alarm…)
I was honored to co-author the book with 3 well-known researchers from CTF Service Research Center of Karlstad University, Sweden – Drs. Anders Gustafsson, Per Kristensson and Lars Witell.
